dental needs. Dr. Shore and his staff spend most of their time listening to understand your concerns
and responding with the best treatment options for you.
Dr. Mayer or as many patients refer to him as “Dr. Dave” originally moved to Homewood in 1978. Dr. Mayer graduated from Bloom High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1983 from Loyola University of Chicago. In 1987 Dr. Mayer received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois School of Dentistry. After working as an associate for three years, Dr. Mayer opened his own practice in Homewood in1990. In 2007 Dr. Mayer expanded to a larger updated office right next door to meet the needs of his clients.
Dr. Alex Shore was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Michigan State University in 2015. In 2019, Dr. Shore received his D.D.S Degree from the University of Michigan, the top-ranked dental school in the United States. Dr. Shore worked as an associate for three years, spanning three states (Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan) and during that time he gained experience in all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Shore practices with special emphasis on comprehensive family dentistry and implant dentistry. Dr. Shore has been awarded a Fellowship and Mastership certification by the International Dental Implant Association for excellence in implant dentistry. Dr. Shore is also a certified Hybridge Full Arch Implant provider. Be sure to ask him all about any of your implant dentistry needs!
